Neighborhood Centers of Johnson County is a community-based, family-centered human services agency that has a reputation for providing quality programming that is adaptive to the changing needs of the areas we serve. Our programs and activities reach over 200 children and up to 100 adults each day and include NAEYC accredited child development programs for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, in-school and after school prevention programming for school-age children, parenting and home visiting programs, and an Even Start Family Literacy Program.

Neighborhood Centers is Now Registering for Preschool!

Neighborhood Centers of Johnson County and the Iowa City Community School District are accepting registration for the State of Iowa’s Voluntary Preschool classroom located at Grant Wood Elementary School - 1930 Lakeside Dr. in Iowa City. Morning spaces are available. Children must be 4 years old by September 15, 2010 to be eligible for enrollment.
