Family Support Worker
The Family Support Worker plays a crucial role in assisting families in navigating challenges related to child welfare and behavioral health. This position involves working closely with families to provide support, resources, and guidance in order to promote healthy family dynamics and improve overall well-being. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in social work, conflict management, and crisis intervention. They will encourage the positive growth of the individual, family, and community through support programs for parents and their children. The Family Support Worker plans and implements programs for parents and their children with an established curriculum and assessments, which include home visits, group parent education, and other family-based activities. This position also works as a team member in coordinating programs with area resources and other NCJC programs.

Youth Programs Support Specialist (part-time)
The Youth Programs Support Specialist (YPSS) is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of culturally-sensitive, gender-responsive, and trauma-informed programs for vulnerable youth. The YPSS will aid in planning, organizing, and leading special projects and programs for youth in community, school, and workplace environments. By building relationships with youth, their families, and community partners, the YPSS utilizes research based best practices, established curriculum, and assessment tools to encourage positive growth and development.

Systems Administrator (part-time)

The Systems Administrator (SA), in collaboration with NCJC’s Management team will work to ensure NCJC’s technology infrastructure and facilities run smoothly and efficiently. The SA is responsible for managing and supporting organizational data and communication needs with both internal and external partners and is focused on identifying and implementing solutions, systems, technology, tools, and trainings to support staff in the achievement and measurement of established goals and effective management of resources.

Early Childhood Assistant Teacher (substitute)

 The substitute Assistant Teacher role assists with the care and education of children in an environment designed to promote social, physical, and intellectual growth. The substitute teacher is responsible for providing instruction, managing the classroom environment, and promoting student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher and/or assigned classroom staff. Serve as an active member of the teaching team, assisting with parents and assesses the needs of individual children. The assistant teacher substitute also maintains standards as set by the Department of Health and Human Services, CACFP, and NAEYC which includes a child safe environment during all activities. This is a unique teaching assistant role that requires above average ability to be flexible regarding schedule both in time and location. Every day is new and different, and you will get the opportunity to work with a wide variety of children and teachers across multiple classrooms and locations.
